The last project INTERFACES AND PATTERNS OF COMMUNICATION establishes
a communication between human and mineral actors of wet biotop.
These actors communicate and intersect in a place of mutual interaction of the interface between
Atlantic Ocean and the coast; between brackish Mira river and its banks of Vila Nova de Milfontes area;
Yet, how can we understand this kind of communication from the human agent perspective?
As there is no universal language, I tried to find communication through sensitivity, emotion, and observation. The kind of information of human interrelation with wet mineral matters – sedimentary, stratified, igneous, crystalline and transformed rocks, were embodied into a performative bodily activities that are manifested
in forms of Transient Pattern. The message written on each interface (wet sand in a low tide, river mud
and dirt road) is actualized as superimposition of each communication into hybrid digital/water-based interface. The project is one of series: 'Water bodies' communication
